Hi all, Well we are off and rolling on our next exploration of the huge land called Australia. This trip to Tasmania which will involve an overnight ferry run with the car and van down below. We anticipate to do about 10,000 kms and we will be away for about 3 months. We are looking forward to the trip and bringing you our notes and photos. Touring Tasmania

Dec 8, 2010 - Bellingen

A beautiful, small town on the Bellinger river, called BellingeN because of some person hundreds of years ago's spelling msitake. Got picked up from the greyhound stop by a rather creepy driver who looked extremely like a serial killer/paedophile/both, but ended up being pretty harmless during our stay. The hostel itself was stunning, an old wooden house with massive terraces overlooking the river and beyond, right behind the cute main (only) street in Bellingen. In the dusk from the terrace you could see masses of swarms of bats flying...
