Kiama – 8 May to 13 May (5 nights) The 206km drive from Tuross Head to Kiama was mostly through mountain ranges, but the standard of the roads was a lot better than previously used, so made the drive fairly easy going. We passed through quite a few smallish towns on the way and one of them, Mogoo, stood out as being the most quaint (Lin’s word) town with all the shops in the “Olde Worlde” mould. Aug 23, 2010 - A massive drive.
Hello, We succeeded in our plan to drive around Sydney in one day - 530kms! A relatively easy day with a few stops and the Jeep behaved perfectly up the hills. We left Port Macquarie at 7am and arrived here at about 3.30ish. We found a lovely spot at Kendalls Beach, Kiama. Only about 8 caravans here at the moment, but the cabins are nearly full. Yesterday we went and explored Berry, Gerringong, Shoalhaven Heads and Kiama - beautiful countryside here and lots of old buildings. Today we move on down a little further. Having difficulty...
