28/11/2018. Wednesday. Cool and wet Oura to Grenfell It rained nearly all night and this morning till we left, and Wagga Wagga 20km west, was said to have had 4mm. It was cool but not as cold as we have felt. We drove to Junee and visited the Chocolate and Licorice Factory, but the licorice machine wasn’t operating until 12.00, so we had a few tasting samples and left. We drove through a very small town called Bethungra, which would have to be the saddest, untidiest, most derelict town we’ve ever seen. If you blinked, you’d miss it....

May 14, 2016 - Grenfell Lawson Country

Grenfell by the Railway Station… I wonder did Henry catch the train from here to Como where he used to sit on a rock and compose. Well what a day, everything went well till we hitched up and checked the lights and discovered a blinker was not working, detoured via Jayco to buy a new blinker as it seemed there was power getting to the light but the light was not working… Determined it is actually a fault in the van wiring somewhere between the plug (there is power there) and the rear of the van….. I’ll just run a new wire rather than try to...
