Today is Jacinda's 27th birthday and for her birthday she gets to go on a holiday to Europe with Michael, Richard and her Mum. Richard picked me up at home at 1300hrs and we then picked up Jacinda & Michael from their place. We headed off to Brisbane stopping at Maclean for a lunch of fish & chips on the river bank. We arrived at Joelene's place in Brisbane about 1830, ordered pizza for tea then headed off to the airport for our 2320 hrs flight to Kuala Lumpur on Malaysian Airlines flight MH134. Total cost $1688 per pserson return Brisbane...

Mar 6, 2011 - Grafton cont.

3rd March. Last night history nearly repeated itself. After a hot, sticky day a storm built up and arrived early evening, thunder and lightning was constant then there was a lull, Wayne and I were watching the news when a bolt of lightning struck just outside the caravan, the huge bang was unnerving to say the least, the T.V. microwave and lights all were blown out, as was the parks lights and as we found out this morning the ablutions hot water systems, all of which are back to normal, the storm only lasted a couple of hours. Mar 1, 2011 - Grafton

27th February. We are heading for Grafton, the roads are terrible, most of it needs pulling up and starting again, there are large potholes and the best that happens is that a sign saying rough road is place strategically, the whole 160klms is in poor condition, I expected to find the computers on the floor when we opened the van, but they managed to stay put on the bed. Part of the drive was through farmland, then we climbed up the mountains and the road became very steep and winding, once again we were in amongst rainforest, the views are...

Sep 4, 2008 - H O M E ..... Yeah

After seeing Some friends in Noosa then spending a night with Friends on the sunshine coast we decided to drive home today. Over the rain on the coast.. So good to be home ... Thanks everyone for your emails. It was great to stay in touch whilst away ... 11 000kms Later ! 1600L of fuel
