Off this morning to the Park Mocona. Got within 1 & ½ K of the Park and falls when the high river stopped us in our tracks. The bridge across the River Guazu leading into the park was 6 foot under water. . We did not want to see if the motorhome was floatable so we turned around at waters edge and headed for Obera. The drive was well worth it even if we did not get to the falls. Not many places you see ox pulled carts fully loaded being used for work and not show. Oct 30, 2008 - Mama Roja: Life on the farm

Hola amigos! I have just spent a wonderful 2 weeks on the Mama Roja farm (http://www.mamaroja.blogspot.com/ for those of you who haven't checked out their blog yet). It is a small farm owned by an Argentinian/American couple. They are just getting started (only started 3 months ago), so there are many new developments every day. While I was there, they got electricity for the first time (via solar panel)and bought their first animal (a pregnant cow!).
