Sometimes, leaving the tourist track grants travelers with unique, unexpected experiences... Sometimes, it costs you two days and $100. But we've learned to order a beer, eat some instant noodles, and take it all in stride. Formosa is one of Argentina's northernmost provinces. It's tucked right up against Paraguay and home to capybaras, jaguars, maned wolves, and caimans, so it sounded like a great place to explore. Problem is, no one else seems to think so.
