Mar 17, 2007 - Ruta 40 and the bus without a windscreen

St. Patrick's Day and we are in possible one of the only places in the world that doesn't have an Irish pub & isn't celebrating the big day that it is - we are on a bus along the notorious Ruta Cuarenta (Ruta 40). Two days of driving, about half of which is on dirt road and the same view throughout; dry, flat, dusty landscape with a few Nandu (road runners) every now and then.
