We've made good time during the night, and while we are at breakfast this morning, we get the announcement that we are officially crossing the Antarctic Circle. The ship blows its horn to signify the moment (no landmark to actually see, of course, just gray seas in every direction, so we joke that there should be a line across the circle like the first down line that get superimposed on the field during football games).
