Hi everyone, What a great time I'm having on this expedition. I've been meaning to write but I've been so focused on keeping control and command of my ship, I've barely gotten a chance to sit down during the day. Today, I made a stop in Luanda, Angola and what an amazing and peaceful one it was. This was a rich, sea-port city where I had caught many fish along its banks. I also found a couple men willing to aid in fixing a few problems with my ship's interior. I'm looking to go at an even faster pace in order to reach Cape Town.Jump to full entry
Dec 12, 2006 - Angola - Luanda
We arrived here yesterday and I have had a very good first impression of the City. Immediately things were made easier because Marco's cousins, Rosa and Ica came to pick us up from the airport. They helped bypass some of the red tape after immigration. We are staying at Tia Linda's house in the centre of Luanda. The house is lovely and in this blistering heat, the air con is a saviour! Mar 4, 2005 - Pothole Mania Angolan Style Part 1.....
Sunny in the morning and p1ssing it down in the arvo....... Thats what we have for ourselves in the lovley lovely town of Lubango in Southern Angola where we are gaining some respite from the sh1te potholed strewn road south from Luanda......
