Aug 17, 2007 - The other side of Albania

After saying goodbye to Tirana and all our beautiful teammates, we got to see a bit different side of Albania. We traveled with Mateo, a friend from the cathedral in Tirana, who also paints beautiful icons and other pictures, down to Vlore, where we enjoyed a few hours in the sun and Mary Ruth had her second experience swimming in salt water, not to mention perfecting her diving skills from atop a crumbling old stone building of some sort. ...
