This morning we were up at the crack of dawn (or just before), collected our bags and had a brisk 20 min walk down to the area that that the mini buses to Shkoder leave. ... The distance to Shkoder ia about 100kms and the trip takes about 90mins. ... The journey for the 3 of us from Kotor to Shkoder was certainly an interesting one. ... Definitly the nice taxi driver ever, puts the ones you gett to meet on the way back from Leeds on a saturday night to shame! After saying our goodbyes and thankyous we crossed thru the border, met the customs guys who laughed at us when we said we wanted to go into Albania and then got into another taxi, this time with no bread and got driven to the northern Albanian town of Shkoder. ... This short journey was in itself quite entertaining as the local farmers seem to have a pastime of taking their 1 cow or their 1 goat or their 1 donkey for walks down the road, everyone seems to do it and holding up any car that wants to be going on its way.The journey for the 3 of us from Kotor to Shkoder was certainly an interesting one. ...
