Another relatively easy border crossing- the immigration officials collect all the passports while the passengers stay on the bus and then return them stamped and processed. Thru all this we caught glimpses of what we assumed was the "small" lake on the outskirts of Tirana but as we kept going we realised that we were actually in Durres on the coast! We got off the bus (which was actually going on to Tirana - just a circuitous route) because Durres was where we wanted to get to after Tirana anyway and within a few minutes found a shop selling plastic beach equipment where a young guy spoke english. ...
