Mesa Arch
| The Green River and Colorado River cut through Canyonlands creating an amazing landscape. We explored The Island In The Sky which sits within the Y formed by the rivers and has amazing views of the canyons and mountains. We hiked up to Mesa Arch which is an arch formed in rock on the very edge of the cliff. It was amazing and I was scared to get too close to the edge, then this crazy old man came by and walked over the arch! Nutter. I also hiked out to Upheaval Dome which is possibly an old meteor crater (they're not sure how it was formed). Canyonlands was a very pleasant surprise as I wasn't expecting too much but I thought it was a beautiful place. |
