Nanning is widely considered to be the Chinese city with the most 'N's in its name. We are staying at a fancy hotel because that is all they have and it is costing us twice what we were paying in vietnam. booo. Luckily, a nice room on the 6th floor of a real hotel that has television and food in the room and shampoo and slippers and all the works, also comes with a hole in the ground for a toilet. weird.
Nanning is famous for their cuisine. Their cuisine is dog meat. In fact, according to our travel guide, there is an entire section of the city that specializes in canine concotions. We aren't going to go there. Dogs are not for food.
