The Jeff Cohen zinfandel was excellent! BTW, those of you that know about the TJ’s Platinum, Grand Reserve and Reserve wines that they source from various Sonoma/Napa wineries may be on the lookout for the 2017 Platinum Atlas Peak cabernet. Very good! Get a case and if you don’t like it, TJ’s will take it back. It won’t stay on the shelf for more than a day or two. Bob got a few for us this morning.
We really did thread the needle driving to Denver in that we avoided the major snowstorm that hit the NW. Weather in Denver is sunny and in the 70’s. Downright pleasant! Grand Junction, where we are going on Friday, has fire warning alerts. Will have to pay attention to the warnings as they come in.
Jesse, Josh and Melissa’s assistant, worked this morning with us all sitting around the dining room table. Bob and I were busy trying to set up our Apple Watches with everyone taking care of Claire!
Josh had to fix a leak at the RhiNo VRBO and then had showings in Loveland which means he won’t get home until after MNF has started. Melissa and I took Claire for a long walk in her very fancy stroller. She loved the walk and I got my steps in.
I am making slow cooked beef stew with red parslied potatoes and sautéed green beans. More than likely we will have the Atlas Peak cabernet!
