We started today with breakfast in Rue Montgereill which is a beautiful little lane that is home to Stohrer's. Stohrer's is Paris's oldest patisserie. It started business in 1730. We got a sweet from here which was amazing! From here we got confused on the train network as the station we wanted was closed which meant we were using multiple lines to get around it. We sent up the funicular to Montmartre and Sacre Couer. This is the highest land point in Paris and the views were beautiful. We wandered through the markets of Montmartre watching some amazing artists, and enjoying some chocolate and banana crepes. We were going to Luxembourg Jardins, but unfortunately it was closed with some police activity. We saw over 20 police Van's full riot police, so we got out of the area. We headed to Galeries La Fayette where we checked out their awesome glass dome and went on the Glasswalk. Taneisha was blown away by the €850 price of a pair of Jimmy Chews. From Galeries La Fayette we went to the Tour Eiffel. This was a very special experience, and the views were incredible. We stopped for dinner (was more like supper) at around 11.30pm on level 1 of Tour Eiffel. By the time we found a train station that was open, and caught 3 trains we got home at 1:50 AM. Everyone made it, and then were asleep by 2!
It was another truly awesome day!
