Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

I left for an appointment to have an eye exam at 10:00 and ended up being gone until noon. My eyesight without glasses was 20/25 in the left eye and 20/40 in the right eye. That means I could pass my second class flight physical without glasses. With glasses now my eyesight will be 20/20 in the left eye and 20/25 in the right eye. So I ordered a new pair of glasses which will be ready soon. I am so happy that I had the cataract surgery and my sight has been restored. Awesome!

The guys were working hard on the sunroom when I came home. The electrical outlets are in and working, the can lights and LED lights are installed and working, the outside has been wrapped in Tyvec, and the insulation is installed in the walls.

It was a bit before 4:00 when our heating and AC unit arrived. The truck driver used a two wheel dolly to move it around the house and place it in the sunroom.

Our daughter called and she sounded terrible. She could hardly talk and had a very deep and raspy voice, so she was headed to the doctor. We hope she is better soon.

I enjoyed a nice visit with our neighbor, Jason. He and his daughters will help me out with a proof-reading of my manuscript for the latest book. This is the one titled "From Kelly.....With Love". It is compiled of the writings of our daughter, Kelly. The book is dedicated to our daughter, Jennifer, and should be published soon. I know many friends of Kelly are wanting that book. I have to find someone to design the cover for it and I'll get it published soon.

So that is the way our day went today. We hope you dear readers have enjoyed a wonderful day because Life is Good!
