We enjoyed the location and camping amenities at Twin Knobs Campground in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Unfortunately it was very hot and very humid and very buggy and at times, rainy.

We did get a chance to dip in the lake however, which was nice and warm but very refreshing.

The Daniel Boone National Forest is huge and has sections throughout Kentucky.
