Marilyn & I shared our morning coffee together as we enjoyed the view just outside the windows. After a small breakfast we busied ourselves working in the garage. The remaining tubs now either go in the storage shed or into the office.
I finally decided to drive to Quincy to pick up the grill I had purchased. I took the paperwork with me and headed off in the nice weather, for the 45 minute drive to Menards.
It took some time to get things located and loaded but I headed home with the grill in the back of the truck.
Marilyn had prepared a late lunch which we shared, trying to be careful not to eat too much because we were joining our “Therapy Group” later for dinner at John & Julie’s.
I had chatted on the phone with friends, Denny & Jackie and they requested that we pass on greetings to the other friends when we get together. We did just that but the group was missing Steve & Cathy as well as Bill & Deb.
Julie had prepared a delicious lasagna, Marilyn took a salad, while Bob & Janet brought ice cream to go with the awesome black raspberry cobbler Julie prepared as we all sat in the kitchen chatting.
Bob & Janet followed Marilyn & I home where Bob helped me unload the grill and we showed them around the house, which they seemed to like. Life is Good!
