Every weekend our campground is full and it seems that everyone is trying to use the internet. The result is that we have next to none on the Wi-Fi end of the bargain. That is the reason you see no new journal entry from me for several days and then you get two, three, or more all at once.
This journal entry is for Saturday when we did some shopping for bedroom furniture for the second bedroom of the house. After that we drove to Palmyra where a Memorial Day celebration was in full swing.
We joined in as lunch was followed by the grandkids racing around on the Four-Wheelers. We are awed by the skill of these youngsters. Marilyn & I found a shady spot on the patio to sit and visit with Richard & Nancy. We were joined by many others in the family at various times but the time went by fast as the easy, relaxing time in good company passed with a cold beverage in hand.
A hog was roasted and the younger generation of adults had a great time cutting the wonderful roasted meat from the bone accompanied by peals of laughter. Soon another meal was served and it was just as good as the first one. All in all it was a wonderful time spent with family and friends.
There isn’t much else to say except “Life is Good!”
