Loaded up the car and off on the road again (sing it Willie) on up the coast still on HWY 1 for another 50 some miles then it changes to 101 through Oregon. As I was leaving Fort Bragg I saw this walking bridge had to get up there for a few pictures LOL, then back on the road for a few stops along the rugged coast. Then the road leaves the coast and heads to Leggett saw a sigh for a drive through tree so went there the is called the Chandelier tree a very small tree only 315 ft. tall and 21 ft. in Diameter was a slow drive through it had maybe 2" on each side of the mirrors, this has been a drive though tree since 1922. A drive though the Avenue of the Giants wow there were some very big and old trees in this area makes your neck hurt as you look up to the tops, many of the trees a close to 400 ft. and some 2000 plus years old. Now the road heads back to the coast and though a few more redwood forest making a very nice drive before reaching my stop for the night at Crescent City.
