Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

We awoke to a steady rain falling from the sky. Marilyn & I were expecting to make an offer on a house today but the realtor had a house that she thought was just right for us and had permission to meet us there to show us that house. The first thing on our agenda though was to look at a used bedroom suite for sale here in Hannibal. We liked the furniture and I wrote a check once these folks agreed to keep it for us until we had a place to put it.

Marilyn & I then drove to meet the realtor and immediately liked the house exterior. A Lot!! The “WOW” factor continued for us when we went indoors. This home is very nice and we hope to make an offer in a few days. If that fails, we are also happy with the original home we had selected, so I think we will be home owners again soon.

We returned to the campground and watched the steady stream of RVs rolling in. We are up front in the campground and a gentleman knocked on our door asking if we were the camp host. It seems they have a water problem back in the campground, so I directed him to the camp host. I checked and our water is ok.

We have a Wi-Fi issue though as the full campground usually means slow to NO Wi-Fi. We often have to wait until the next morning to post my journal and that may be the case today as well.

In any case, things are going well and we know that Life is Good!
