2019 New Adventures of the Old Joyce travel blog

February 10-16, 2019 – Aransas Pass. Texas

February 10 – I was up fairly early, and although it was sprinkling and a bit foggy, I decided to run into Corpus to the grocery store. There were a few things that I needed. I was able to get done and be back home by 10.

It rained most of the night, but it finally cleared off around 1 this afternoon. The sun actually came out although it took me a while to recognize it as I haven’t seen it for several days.

I finished reading a book and have spent the rest of the day doing crossword puzzles. I should have done laundry, but I just didn’t want to so will have to do it tomorrow.

February 11 – After exercise this morning, I spent the rest of the day working on travel stuff and doing laundry.

February 12 – It was raining this morning when it was time to walk so I just stayed in. I’ve spent the day working on travel information.

The sun came out this afternoon, and I had a couple of windows open for a while. The breeze was too cool to have all the windows open. On another note, it is snowing in New York City, and they need to plow the streets. Can you believe that someone is sabotaging the snow plows with sugar in the tank? What kind of idiot would do something like that??

February 13 – Tonight was the pot luck dinner. It was a small crowd, but we had a good time. I’ve spent the day working on travel information.

February 14 – I called Carl today and made arrangements to have work done on the coach the week of April 8th. I also made my reservation for Sunset Ridge RV Park in Stillwater. I’ll be there from April 15th to June 15th. After that I haven’t decided what I’m going to do.

February 15 – I thought I could finish the travel stuff today, but I didn’t make it. I’ve got another day’s work to do.

It was a nice day. I had all the windows open. It was nice to get the coach aired out.

February 16 – I finished the travel stuff today. Now, I just have to use the lists to mark the maps. Then, when I’m ready to go anyplace, I’ll use the marked maps to plan my route.
