Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

I slept with the window open last night. It was a good night for sleeping with a gentle, cool breeze, coming in that open window making a blanket feel great.

Marilyn & I were both scheduled for a skin cancer screening at Monroe City and we arrived about 15 minutes early for our 10:15 appointment. Ten minutes later we were finished. Marilyn had no problem but I had a place on my back which the doctor suggested should be a subject for a biopsy. I now have an appointment for that biopsy on May 6th.

When we returned home I checked my work schedule and then began the process of replacing the anode rod in our water heater. I was surprised that the old one was not in bad shape but I decided to replace it with the new one in any case. Just as I was finishing my work, Denny & Jackie returned and we all sat together outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather.

Wednesday is “Survivor” night so that is our plan for tonight. Marilyn & I had missed two episodes of Survivor while moving from Mission, Texas to Hannibal, MO so we were delighted when Jackie directed us to channel 117 on our DISH satellite TV where we caught up on those two missed shows.

Life is Good!!
