Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

After a poor night of sleep I sipped coffee in the hope that I could perk up and do a good job leading a tour at 11:00.

The tour group consisted of three nice couples from the state of Louisiana. I chatted with them about our time in Louisiana and the Cajun food we love so much.

The tour went extremely well and every one tried to make me accept a tip. I have a policy of not accepting tips and they finally simply shook hands and invited us to come visit them in Louisiana. They even gave me the phone numbers and made hearty compliments about the tour.

When I walked home I changed clothing and then loaded several items in the truck for a trip to the storage shed at the farm. We drove to Palmyra and visited with Jennifer and the Grandkids while waiting for Steve to get home from work.

Steve showed us much of the work he had been doing around the place and we sure enjoyed the tour. He is a hard-working young man and a good Son-in-Law.

It was later than normal by the time we arrived back at the RV where Marilyn finished the dinner she had started earlier and we sat together enjoying a nice meal. I fixed ice cream with strawberries for dessert.

Tomorrow will be another day to treasure because Life is Good!
