This journal entry will cover yesterday as well as today. We are sort of in “limbo” waiting for a part for the RV so we can get back on the road again.
Yesterday we stopped at the office to ask Mary where to find a laundry mat. She directed us to the room next to the one we were in where they have a fine laundry facility for the use of customers. Marilyn completed several loads of laundry while I chatted with another couple who were heading to San Antonio for a Rally. They have never been to Texas so we filled them in on places to go as well as things to see and do. If any of you dear readers run into Dan and Katrina be sure to tell them hello.
When the laundry was finished Marilyn & I went to lunch and returned to hook up the RV and tow it a short distance to the dump station. With empty tanks we backed up, returning to our parking place.
We worked on a water leak and then relaxed with some TV for the evening.
This morning we shared our coffee while the sun warmed things nicely outdoors. The temperature reached the low 70’s with bright sun shining down on us. We drove to Hobby Lobby and then to Walmart where I had a prescription filled. I was shocked when the lady told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. That is the best service I’ve ever had at any pharmacy.
Marilyn & I ate lunch at home and then I installed a new elbow and a pressure regulator to the water supply input. Marilyn took her book outdoors to read while I installed new weather stripping on the screen door.
That was about it for today. We hope the repairs are completed tomorrow and we’ll be on the road again on Thursday. Life is Good!
