Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

We were up early, shared our usual morning coffee, and pulled the RV to the Dump Station to dump the tanks. The RV was ready to go into the shop by 8:00 so I pulled it in and left it with Slade and the crew.

Marilyn & I jumped into the car and drove to “Huddles” for a fine breakfast. We enjoyed our time together and then drove a short distance to the Walmart to make a few purchases. We had just finished loading the items into the car when my cellphone rang. It was Slade informing me that he found a bad wheel bearing and the new part would take two days to get here.

That is ok. We like to plan extra days for those unplanned problems like this one. We are in a safe place with people we know and have everything we need. Except TV that is! I worked for several hours trying to get the satellite set up but had no luck.

We hate to miss “Survivor” tonight but that’s the way it goes. We did drive to a new place for fried chicken and it was quite good.

We spoke to Shane today and he is having trouble finding a lot to build on so we are discussing maybe a renovation of an older home. I told him that as long as it has two bedrooms, two baths, a sunroom, and a garage, we are ok with that idea.

Life is Good!
