Winter2018-2019 travel blog

We started this morning warm and bright. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, another great day. Then as we were deciding where to go, the clouds moved in and the downpour started. Happily it didn't last very long.

The ride today was short, only 128 miles. We pulled out about 10:45 and were at Gulf Beach RV Park in Biloxi, right across the road from the Gulf beach, by 1 PM. By then the skies had cleared and all was right with the world once more. There may be more storms this afternoon and evening, but we'll deal with that when the time comes. We're going to stay here for two nights. We had spent Christmas in this campground on the way out. It seemed like such a nice place we decided to come back. We'll also be revisiting the campground we were in near Mobile, AL.

For whatever reason we're finding the campgrounds we are interested in have no space available for the period we're looking for. We're hoping this does NOT prove to be the case when we get to Florida. And even more so for the Winter months next year. April 1 is normally the day Florida campgrounds empty out and prices drop. We shall see.
