And I managed to get my dehydrated food past the alert noses...

The view from my bedroom window

Now whatever is that thing on the Hobart wharf ?

Peter and I decide it’s time for lunch. Making the most of...

My goodness the animals around here are cheeky

Wonderful Tom was up at 5am to get me to the airport in time for an early flight. Left Sydney and it was raining. Arrived in Hobart to sunny blue skies, but only 9C degrees with a wind blowing. Oops, hope I have enough clothes. Especially after having just gotten over a bout of influenza.

Checked into hotel and reorganised my things into my backpack. Still have hike lunches food to buy and squeeze into the pack. Yikes!

Once Peter arrived we both did a lunch shopping trip at the local supermarket then had a quick look around the area including a ‘reccie’ to the wharf where we are catching an early bus to Pt Arthur tomorrow.

After a simple lunch food was still on our minds so we checked out restaurants in prep for dinner. When the wind dropped the day was pleasant but any breeze at all was straight off the Antarctic. Brrrrrrrr!
