We've been in all kinds of weather this month. Hot, humid, cold, sunny, cloudy and rainy. Luckily it was clear for our outdoor Superbowl party that utilizes a big projector screen.
Headed to Jacksonville to visit the Mayo Clinic. Just regular check up for Mary. Also went to a Family Motor Coach Assoc (FMCA) rally about an hour down the road. Went with 4 other friends and enjoyed seminars on Alaska caravans, saw vendors, and entertained by singers and impressionists. Mary went to a craft class and decorated a wine bottle. And, we won the Bean Bag Baseball competition. We got medals and everything.
It as at this rally that we found out that our power generator stopped working. The generator is needed when we don't have power hook ups. So, no HVAC or oven for a couple days.
So, off to Altemonte Springs to hang out at Cummins Diesel for repairs. We were there in their parking lot for a week waiting on a part. They had electric and water hookups and our rig backed up to a lake, so it wasn't too bad..
We also had the screen lady install solar screens to the outside of our windshield. We met her in Tampa at the RV Show. It helps protect the windshield and keeps the inside temp down.
Finally, this is Valentine month, so we had a party at the clubhouse with food, drink, a band and dancing.
Next month will include Daytona Bike Week, trip to Cocoa Beach to hang out with Major Nelson and Jeanie, and the FMCA Rally in Perry Georgia.
