Yesterday I wrote about our day in Mexico with friends but yesterday was important to us for more reasons that what I wrote about. It was the birthday of several people we hold dear. Our granddaughter Lauren turned nine years old yesterday. She is cute as a button, sweet as maple sugar, and smart as a whip. We love her to pieces!
Karen, the daughter of Marilyn’s cousin, also celebrated her birthday yesterday. She has the voice of an angel and we love to hear her sing.
Teresa is a great friend who lives in Canada with her husband Trent. Both of these wonderful friends are special to us and we have memories of the time we helped Teresa celebrate her birthday when we were all in Arizona. Henry, another friend, participated in that celebration as it was also his birthday.
Every one of these folks is special to us and each has touched our lives. It may be a day late but we wish every one of them a very Happy Birthday.
Now about today….. Marilyn went for a walk and then did laundry and cleaned the RV. I worked with a paper shredder, getting rid of old paperwork which has a tendency to pile up, no matter where we are living.
