Our little lake with resident ducks

Great music entertainment each Saturday night

Entertainment is well attended.

It was such an easy 154 mile drive to get here, straight south on I-75 then East on US Hwy 64 to Zolfo Springs. We wanted to stay in one place for a couple months, without having to worry about moving every 3 weeks as in the past. We chose to stay for 2 months at Oasis at Zolfo Springs. It’s a nice, quiet, small park. The management here is new with much experience and we have seen the new improvements. Our site is great with a large concrete patio. A little pond on the property offers catch and release fishing! And so we’ve settled in.

Why are we here? First, and foremost the weather in south central Florida is terrific. Though we might complain a little about the occasional low 60’s, we don’t have to put up with the brutal cold up north. Second, we are committed to volunteer at an organization near and dear to our hearts. That organization, Center for Great Apes is nearby. We plan on working 2 days a week at what ever it is they need for us to do. For more information go to: www.centerforgreatapes.org More about them from us as we immerse ourselves in volunteering at the center.
