Another late start, although I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that this one was caused by a bit of retail therapy. A "quick" stop at an outlet mall dragged into several hours - so much of the country to see and I spend my second day shopping! Oh well... I finally headed out in the afternoon and made it as far as Tallahassee, with a plan to drive north into Alabama tomorrow. I looked at the weather map in USA Today and noticed that it's already snowing in the Dakotas and Wyoming, with highs in the low 40s. Will I be forced to eliminate the one destination (the Black Hills) that I was so looking forward to seeing?
