Like most of our RV friends, we enjoy going out for a meal and, believe it or not, breakfast is our favorite meal to eat out. Most of you loyal readers also know that Marilyn & I have maintained a habit of sharing our morning coffee at home for more than 56 years.
This morning we were up early so we could have the usual morning coffee together and then we headed out in the car to pick up our friends, Mike & Marian.
We drove to Diaz Diner, across from the Post Office in Mission, and enjoyed a tasty breakfast to go along with the easy flow of conversation.
Once we arrived back at the RV Marilyn asked me to repair a desk fan which is noisy and quite dusty. She likes the small paint brush I gave her to clean things like computer keyboards and is also good for a small fan. We used to carry a small paintbrush in the cockpit of the Corporate Jet and on long trips, while at cruising altitude we would dust the knobs, switches, and dials of the instrumentation in the cockpit.
Once I found the proper tools it was easy to take the cover off the fan. Marilyn then cleaned it and turned it back to me to lubricate it with the WD-40.
Both of us spent some time with our books and now, with the dinner dishes done, she is back to work on her Santorini Project while I am doing the typing for the blog.
It was an easy, relaxing day and Life is Good!
