I had the living room all straightened and had a fresh pot of coffee ready when Marilyn came down this morning. We had the door open and enjoyed a beautiful morning long enough to finish off the coffee.
I had several chores to complete and soon finished those while Marilyn started the laundry. Next on the agenda was grocery shopping. Marilyn & I had decided to eat more meals at home and therefore to eat out less, in an effort to eat less and to spend less money. It is expensive to eat out all the time. However, I have noticed that our grocery bill has grown considerably. LOL
Jim called when we were just leaving the grocery store. He was leaving his truck for some work and I had promised to pick him up, so we rushed right home and unloaded the groceries. I left Marilyn to put things away and drove off to pick up Jim.
Back at the RV, Marilyn took her book outdoors to enjoy the weather. I stayed indoors, worked on the computer for a bit, and inspected the inside of my eyelids for light leaks.
We have plans for tomorrow and for Wednesday. I received a surprise phone call from a longtime friend and we plan to meet Joyce for breakfast on Wednesday morning. It has been quite some time since we have seen Joyce and it will be good to see this wonderful, sweet, lady again. We miss her husband Roger and this will be the first time we have seen Joyce since Roger passed.
So that is the way our day rolled into the history book today. It’s wonderful to still believe that Life is Good!
