We went to friends of our kids for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday and so, the four of us wanted, yes even needed our own turkey leftovers. It fell to Dave to cook up one of his Trash Can Turkey’s! At first, he determined to cook the turkey on Friday, but cold wind and misty rain prevented that from happening. On Saturday, the weather became more favorable.
Using the same directions he learned years ago on the web and You Tube, Dave prepped the cooking site. This year, he chose to use Kingsford Mesquite briquettes, to add a new flavor. You’ll see photos of all the significant steps needed to finish a tasty Trash Can Turkey. The results were favorable to all who ate.
