Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

It rained for most of the day today. Well, it wasn’t really rain the way we normally think of rain. It was mostly just a heavy mist which made everything wet. The wind and chilly temperature made it quite uncomfortable to be outdoors so we stayed indoors.

I helped Marilyn put clean linen on the bed, she started a load of laundry and then drove to the Walmart to pick up a couple of items we needed. She brought back a batch of chicken wings and they were just in time for the beginning of the football game so we watched football, ate chicken wings, and played around on the computers.

I ordered a new Kindle for Marilyn because it was only $49.05 and a new battery cost over half of that and we weren’t certain a new battery would fix the old Kindle anyway.

Tomorrow is the open house here at Retama so we will have the Coach House open for showing and Monday I hope to get the Ad for the RV posted with RVTrader.com.

Our relatives will be here on Tuesday and we’ll have fun showing them around and introducing them to our friends here. We plan to visit Mexico on Wednesday and have lunch in Padre Island on Thursday. I’ll be writing about these things as we go along.
