Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Marilyn & I were awake early so that we could share our coffee time before Richard and his crew arrived to wash and wax the RV. Once they arrived and started the job, I left to shop for groceries and get some cash from the ATM. (I had to pay the guys for the wash & wax job)

The RV looked really nice when they finished so Marilyn & I began working outdoors. We arranged the outdoor furniture differently and like it better. We actually can seat eleven people on the patio now but I doubt if we will have that many around at one time.

When Marilyn took her book outdoors to read and take advantage of the awesome weather I stayed indoors to watch some college football on TV. It seems that we have been working pretty hard to make things nice but we will soon be relaxing with friends, enjoying happy hours, grilling, and playing games at the table outdoors.

To give you an idea about how the days go for us here in the RGV, we will attend Mass tomorrow morning and then have breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants. I can hardly wait for the huevos rancheros. We have a day to relax or get a few more items completed on Monday. Tuesday we will VOTE. Wednesday the new awnings will be installed on the RV. Thursday we are going to Mexico with a group of great friends and that will be lots of fun for sure. The next two days will be spent getting the Coach House ready for the Open House on the 11th, The week following, we have relatives arriving to spend a couple of days. It will be fun to show them around. That means more fun in Mexico and a trip to the beach at South Padre Island. Life is Good!
