Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

It sure feels good to wake up feeling great and that is what I did today. I slept great and sharing coffee with my honey started the day just right.

I was ready to get some work done so I headed outdoors, mixed a batch of “Wet it and Forget it” and then sprayed the algae buildup on our concrete patio. After completing that chore I left for a drive to the DonWes Flea Market in Donna. We have to replace two awnings on the RV before we advertise it for sale so I checked out the price at “Top Hat” awnings. They will be here tomorrow to measure and then will return to install the new awnings when they are finished.

I fueled the car and made a trip to the Post Office before going to the Flea Market, and then stopped at Home Depot on the way home. We discovered several ant hills near the bushes in our yard so I purchased a powder product to get rid of the ants.

Marilyn & I sat together with a glass of wine and enjoyed the nice breeze which kept us comfortable even in the 90 degree weather.

We received our new credit cards today and now I have to contact the folks who are paid automatically every month, to give them the new card info. Bummer!

We intend to advertise our RV soon but will not sell the truck until the RV is sold. People who come to look at the RV will also see our property here at Retama. Speaking of that, our Russian Olive tree behind the patio is doing great, It is absolutely beautiful this year. In fact it is doing so well that I will need to do some trimming once we are finished setting up. No doubt about it, Life is Good!
