Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

I didn’t sleep very well last night and felt a bit lethargic until I had two cups of coffee. Marilyn wanted to do laundry which had piled up during our travel to the valley, so my first chore was to connect the sewer hose and dump the tanks. She was a happy camper and did three loads of laundry among the other chores she accomplished today.

I spent much of my day on the phone listening to the computer talking. I called Richard and made an appointment to have the RV washed and waxed on Saturday morning. I also called Greenfield Communication to have the high speed internet connected on Friday. I also had our mail sent and had to call the Customer Service for my credit card. My card expires tomorrow at midnight so they are sending a new card with overnight delivery.

My phone time wasn’t finished as I had to call the city water department to have our service restored in full. The water service remained all through the summer for irrigation here but the trash pickup stopped until we returned.

Marilyn & I also drove to the HEB store to pick up groceries. We enjoyed some of their great salmon patties for dinner this evening. These salmon patties have bits of jalapeno, onion, green & red sweet peppers and cheese mixed with the salmon. They are delicious.

It appears that it will be a week or more before we are all set up and feeling “home”.

Life is Good!
