Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

With only one day before we leave, we had a ton of things to accomplish today. Of course we began with the usual coffee. We then cleaned things and made the bed. Marilyn left to get her hair cut while I started my chores by changing the fridge to run from inverter power. I then cleaned the windows in the truck before dumping the tanks and stowing the hoses for travel. I then took the truck to town to get new batteries for the key fob we use for the car. I topped off the fuel before returning to the Campground.

I was beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel and stopped at the ATM to get some cash. I then took the DISH antenna down and stowed it for travel. I finished just in time as the family arrived to visit. We all sat outdoors in the sunshine while the gusty wind accompanied by chilly temperatures tried to force us back indoors.

The kids and grandkids left with shared hugs, kisses, and holding back tears (The ladies).

Marilyn & I had time to warm up indoors and then had messages and a phone call with friends Denny & Jackie who are traveling with us tomorrow. We made a quick decision to meet for dinner and lingered to discuss plans for meeting along the way tomorrow. Now we are resting and pondering our trip. Warm weather is waiting and Life is Good!
