Our trip from Norman, OK to Alma, AR covered 204 miles, almost all on I-40, under mostly misty, cloudy skies. It was an uneventful trip - the repaired windshield wiper even worked! We are staying at a golf course! The Eagle Crest Golf Course RV Park
contains about twenty 50 amp full hookup pull-throughs that are mostly level though some could use some work. The park doesn't get much use and it could also stand some more of that work. We haven't found anything better in this area except for the Aux Arc COE
park about 20 miles away, just below Ozark, AR, where we stayed a couple of years ago
but thought we would try this one, especially since the COE is so heavily treed which makes satellite acquisition very difficult IF you can get through at all. We do have good Verizon and AT&T and very few trees so satellite was easy as well.
We didn't do anything while here except catch up on a few things around the coach and some TV shows as well. We head for West Memphis, AR tomorrow and will stay there four nights watching the barges run up and down the Mississippi River. Hopefully this constant rain will taper off somewhat!!
