|Very early start for the ferry trip form the northwest of Sardinia across just 12km of water to Bonifacio in Corsica.
Started with lunch at the edge of the marina then headed along to catch the small train which took us up to the fort which is actually a citadel containing winding streets, shops, churches. Etc.
A thirty min trip in the bus took us further along the coast to Ponto Vechio which looks to be another holiday spot complete with marina with many luxury yachts.
Ablemto rest before dinner which was good - a tomato salad, then sole coked in a packet with various vegetables along side, then an apple tart, washed down of course by a good white wine.
Looking forward now to a good sleep.
