We moved back to the north east side of the island to Victoria. The weather is a little warmer but the smoke in the air from the many forest fires in BC is making things a bit hard to see. We are staying at a nice little park on the ocean and the surf is about 2" high. Very quite location.

We took a drive into Victoria and had a nice walk through the city and saw a number of the old historical buildings and the port. Very nice city.

The highlight was Butchart Gardens which from what I understand is a tourist requirement. It is beautiful. The climate here is so perfect for flowering plants. Attached are a few off the over 400 pictures I took here.

We move back over to the USA tomorrow on the ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles WA. Then on to the Washingon, Oregon, and California coast. WOO HOO
