Yet another bus ride tour. This time around the central part of PEI. This island is one of the most beautiful areas we have seen. The startling thing is, NO TRASH or LITTER anywhere and they recycle “Literally” everything in one way or another.

This island is primarily farmland with the greatest product being potatoes. If you have had McyD’s fries, you have had PEI spuds.

Our tour took us to the beach at PEI National Park to walk in the soft powdery sand and to tour the “Anne of Green Gables” National Heritage Site, the home of Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of the book. We also visited the Capital City, Charlottetown. The No. 2 industry of PEI is tourism. The place seems to be one big, very nice, family vacation tourist trap. An interesting fact of PEI is that there are no rocks on the island. It is all sand stone. Any rocks, gravel or aggregate type materials must be imported from the mainland.

We stopped for lunch at a very nice place and enjoyed more Scottish music and area entertainment.
