Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Bob walked up to join us as we sat outdoors with our morning coffee. Jan also walked over from next door. The temperature was quite cool and the forecast high temperature was only in the 65 degree range. After breakfast Bob came back to our site to help me by installing a new sensing device I had purchased and then he climbed up the ladder outdoors to remove one of our "topper awnings" which was beyond repair. Bob is our Hero!

Some RV folks prefer to not have those topper awnings because they are noisy in windy weather. They do however, protect the slideout roofs from leaves, sticks, etc, so it all depends on the preference of the owners.

Marilyn did laundry and then we went for a walk, taking trash to the dumpster as we passed that way.

The sky remained mostly cloudy all day and a few raindrops fell from the sky.

We spent an enjoyable afternoon reading our books and looking at some properties back in Missouri. We are simply doing some research as we have been thinking about getting off the road one of these days. While that decision is not imminent we have been talking about it.

It would be ideal to trade our RV and truck for a small home somewhere but I'm not sure how likely that might be. We'll see how things work out and that might be another whole new adventure.

In any case, life is Good.
