We made it to Dawson City, the town where the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898 was centered. The road had some rough spots and we have gotten into the north where the road buckles due to frost heaves. When you see the warning sign that showa three humps you know to slow down or you will have things in the trailer rearrenged for you. The caravan had a trip on an excursion boat, the Klondike Spirit. It took us about a mile up and down the Yukon River from Dawson City. The weather has been really ward here and almost no rain the last ten days or so. In fact, I was told by a couple we met that had been here and were heading south the Dawson City set a record high for the date yesterday. That is fine because the rain really makes the unpaved roads rough. The "Top of the World" road from here to Chicken, Alaska, is mostly unpaved and notoriously rough. We will know in about three days since that is our next stop.
