Stopped for a little lunch break, no shade or anything else out...

iwiK is so happy to be back on top again! Because of...

It was all or nothing today! 78 miles from Dubois to Lander with nothing really in between so we made it all in one day! First day, in I don't know how many days, we woke up and the word SUNNY appeared in the forecast!

It was so exciting! And the day proved to be a great one! Believe it or not, everything was in our favor! Sun was shining, we were losing elevation so mostly easy pedaling quite often touching 32 mph! It was just awesome!

The scenery changed constantly! We had a great ride and loved it!

We are in Lander, WY and so far love what we see! It is the first time we have been hosted by a WarmShowers family. What an amazing organization based on the kind, generous people who love to travel and share life through other travelers! We are staying in Lander tomorrow as well, we have the bicycles booked in at the local bike shop for a long overdue tune up! The rain and crud on the road has been tough. Our chains are stretching and need a good clean up! Since we can't carry everything we need to do it ourselves, we will stop in a bike shop and let them work their magic!

Enjoy the photos of the changing scenery in Wyoming as we traveled from Dubois to Lander. We crossed the Wind River Indian Reservation for most of the day. It began right out of Dubois and continued almost to Lander. We had very little wind today and if there was some, most of the time, it was behind us!

Well, that is about as exciting as it got today! As I said, everything was in our favor!
