On our way again, we are going toward Montreal on the Trans-Canada Hiway. We stopped at Elliott Lake Rest Area for lunch and saw some beautiful bronze sculpture. Very nice. We decided to bypass Montreal and head back to the US. Not a hard crossing but they took all our Oranges. We were told you can’t bring citrus into the US, even if you bought it there. New learning experience. The countryside has been beautiful and green.

We came into the US at Vermont. We drove down hiway 2. It went through the islands on the Lake Champlain between New York and Vermont. We arrived at the Lone Pines Campground in Colchester, VT. Nice clean campground and good for one night. Colchester is just north of Burlington.
