Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Today was another busy day. I worked outdoors getting things ready for the trip to Colorado while Marilyn shopped for groceries, cleaned the RV inside, and did several loads of laundry.

I made the reservations for Topeka and for Oakley, Kansas once I had the bed of the truck straightened up and the items which travel there re-arranged. Marilyn had a call from the doctor’s office requesting a change in her scheduled appointment from day after tomorrow to next week on Friday. That would not work so I scrambled around on the phone and finally we received a call back confirming Marilyn’s appointment on June 1st.

I also confirmed my own appointment for June 5th and was told that my PSA results were back and they were excellent with a PSA of 0.01. I still have two years to go after my injection on Tuesday but feel really good about the way things are going. In fact I am participating in a “Cancer Survivor” dinner and walk on Friday evening.

Because of my Cancer therapy we missed an entire summer in Colorado last year and look forward to spending three months in the mountains beginning on June 9th.

We attended another of our grandson’s ballgames last night. His team won by a score of 10 – 2 and he played very well again. Those games are fun to watch for sure.

In fact, later today, Marilyn & I are going to watch Mason, the grandson of my cousin, play baseball here in Hannibal. For sure, Life is Good!
